How To Re-Style Loungewear For 2021

Loungewear sprung onto the scene in 2020 as we all lounged around at home. Here's how to give it a style update this year and wear it out of the house...

With the end of the pandemic in sight, we've start planning outfits to wear out of the house again. But is there a way to convert loungewear from a WFH situation to a style-appropriate outfit to wear during the day or even into the night? We turned to some of our favourite fashion influencers to see how they've been re-styling their comfortable basics and give these outfits a whirl!

Shop Fashion Influencers' Wardrobes on Ebloggers

Reliked is the #1 pre-loved fashion platform for influencer fashion in the UK. We work with some of the leading fashion influencers and celebrities to source exclusive items from their wardrobes and resell them at huge discounts right here! There are so many benefits for shopping second-hand, and it's our mission at Reliked to also keep you up to date with the latest influencer styles and support our favourite creators in the process. Plus, for every item sold, we make a donation to our charities!

1. Louise Roe: Hoodie With Midi Skirt & Sneakers

To kick off this list, we turned to Louise Roe and her immaculate style. As a former News Editor at Vogue, as well as TV Presenter, Model, and Author, Louise is always reliable for chic, polished looks. Here she shows us how to pair a comfy hoodie in a stylish and effortless way. Channel Louise and pair your favourite hoodie with a floral midi skirt and low-rise white sneakers.

2. Amber-Rose Gill: Joggers With Big Boots & Puffer Jacket

If you curate a more monochrome wardrobe, this look is for you. Amber-Rose Gill shows us how to update a pair of black joggers with a bold puffer jacket and Prada stomping boots here, in typical high-low fashion. We love seeing how Amber has gone from Love Island to fashion influencer!

3. Danielle Vanier: Loungewear With A Trench Coat

One of our favourite plus-size influencers is Danielle Vanier, and her ethos to "help inspire you to feel confident about your body (what ever size/shape you are) and to show you that there are beautiful clothes out there, no matter what size you happen to be" stands true here too! Take a simple loungewear set and throw over a colourful trench coat to take it from home-wear to any-wear...

4. Selin Tufanoglu: Hoodie & Shorts With Luxe Accessories

Next up is Selin Tufanoglu in another monochrome look. Loungewear shorts have been a big hit this Spring, and seeing Selin style them with a cap, clutch, and designer sandals takes them to another level. The Digital Content Creator hits prime London style in this outfit and we want our own matching set!

5. Oliver Proudlock: Joggers & Vest With Short-Sleeve Shirt

Oliver Proudlock may be best known for appearing in Made in Chelsea, but we also love him for his eclectic style! Here he shows us how to take a pair of plain sweatpants and style them up with a vest top, neon bright shirt, and lots of his own-brand jewellery. It's a thumbs up from us...

6. Chaly D.N.: Bodysuit With Trench Coat & Heels

If your loungewear consists of figure-hugging bodysuits, Chaly D.N. is the fashion influencer to follow! Here she styles her own sage green bodysuit with a matching trench and black lace-up heeled boots. Chaly D.N. is known for her similarities to Kim Kardashian and her style here is spot on yet again!

7. Solomon Ian-Sangala: Hoodie With Jacket & Jeans

Solomon Ian-Sangala is our next pick for loungewear restyling, as he shows us here how easy it is to pair a hoodie with lumberjack-style jacket, jeans, and sneakers. The trick is to get the fit right across each piece, making for a sharp, clean look, as opposed to a slightly lumpy version!

8. Simona Snarskis: Co-ord, Blazer & Statement Bag

Simona Snarskis is a Social Content Creator, Chief Editor and Founder of The Simone Magazine. Her loungewear transformation here had to be included in this list, as it's just beautiful: cream co-ords with sparkling white trainers are elevated with a structured blazer and statement handbag. Don't forget the sunglasses and jewellery either!

9. Lauren-Nicole: Loungewear & A Smile

To round off this guide, we wanted to include this smiley shot of Lauren-Nicole in her loungewear at a hotel. Because loungewear can still be enjoyed on its own - only now, we're allowed to travel again!
