Festivals are officially back! Glastonbury has already kicked things off and we’ve got an exciting summer ahead with festivals such as Bestival, Field Day and Latitude, as well as plenty of other options. From festival fun with the family to the messy affairs with friends where the party doesn’t stop, it’s festival season and we love it!

If you’ve got tickets to a summer festival, then it’s time to start planning your festival wardrobe – and we’ve got all the inspo you need to rock all kinds of looks, from boho festival outfits to neon and glitter-clad glamour! We’ll have you feeling at home, whatever the festival vibe.

Getting creative with our outfits is one of the things we love most about the build-up to attending a festival. So we’ve gathered together our favourite festival-inspired fashion ideas from our Reliked bloggers and influencers to team with your dancing shoes! It’s time to get excited and get planning! Read on for your festival outfit inspo.

Boho festival outfits

You’ll never go wrong with a boho-inspired festival outfit. The funky look has been nailed and updated at plenty of festivals over the years by celebs such as Kate Moss, Vanessa Hudgens and Alexa Chung. It’s classic, it’s expected and it works.

Team a flowing maxi dress with a cowgirl hat if you’d like to cover up from the summer heat – or dare to bare by slinging a crochet top over a vest and rocking the look with faded Daisy Duke denim shorts and a statement chunky necklace. Add a flower in your hair and embrace your laid-back inner hippy chick! Boho works – it was pretty much born on the festival circuit and will have you feeling right at home.

Neon festival outfits

Festivals are all about standing out from the crowd and getting noticed, and by choosing a neon outfit you’re certainly going to be the centre of attention. Neon rocked us in the 1980s, but it is back with a vengeance and we love that we’ll be seeing lots of it at festivals up and down the country this summer.

Flaunt the neon vibe with an electric blue mini dress, or fiery orange bikini top paired with ripped jeans and add cute pigtails, luminous makeup, and jewelled face gems for full-on festival funkiness. It’s cool, it’s striking and we love it.

Sequin festival outfits

We don’t think there is such a thing as too many sequins – and festivals are the best place to sparkle and shine in style. A festival is the one place you can stand in a field in sequins, and somehow it just works.

Steal the style of celebs such as Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez who have both slipped into high-waisted sequin shorts, or get funky in a 70s-style sequin jumpsuit. Check out our preloved sequin jumpsuits and dresses from Celebs Go Dating star Tallia Storm and find your new favourite festival outfit.

90s festival outfits

Feeling nostalgic? The Nineties was an awesome decade for fashion – and the style is back with a bang for the festival scene this summer. Indeed, the 1990s is the new retro style that’s nudging its way into our consciousness. Whether you were a grungy Gwen Stefani fan or a wannabe Spice Girl, relive your youth with a Nineties-inspired festival outfit. If it’s all new to you then have fun!

We’re talking minis skirts, cropped tops, cargo pants or bossing it like Scary Spice in a whole load of leopard print.

Black festival outfits

If you prefer a more mysterious or understated festival look, then you’ll never go wrong with head-to-toe black. Black jumpsuits are incredibly flattering for all body types, so you can show off your curves confidently while dancing the day (and night) away to your favourite bands.

White festival outfits

You might be thinking that white isn’t the most practical colour for wearing in a muddy field – but hey, it might not rain. After witnessing Florence Welsh oozing elegance in a sheer white dress at Glastonbury a few years back, we’re willing to give it a try.

The Florence and the Machine singer teamed her ankle-skimming dress with practical walking boots – ideal for protecting your toes if you want to make your way to the front of the crowd and hang out by the stage.

Bright festival outfits

Pack your shades – things are getting colourful with this selection of bright and beautiful festival outfits. From rainbow-coloured trousers to colourful accessories that will add a pop of colour to your festival wardrobe, our Reliked VIBs will brighten your day with a choice of funky festival colours.

Plus-size festival outfits

Choose a killer plus-size festival outfit and head centre stage in a floaty dress teamed with an edgy leather jacket and biker boots. Complete the look with a funky fedora and statement shades.

Children’s festival outfits

There are plenty of family-friendly festivals taking place this summer, so if you’re taking little ones to enjoy their first festival, we’ve got plenty of kid’s festival outfit ideas that will allow them to soak up the atmosphere while looking adorable!

Shop the preloved kid’s clothing of reality star Fern McCann’s daughter, and Made in Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh’s two children.

Festival Footwear

We are not ones to be pessimistic – but based on the weather over recent summers, things might just get muddy – so it’s best to be prepared with the right footwear.

Biker boots are practical and are also totally on-trend with the festival vibe whatever the weather. If the weather is kind, wedged sandals are a comfortable choice – and they also add a couple of inches to your height so you might just see the stage better. Add a slick of bright nail varnish and you’re ready to rock!
